Get to Know: Emily Pecora

Senior Project Manager

Tell us a little bit about your background

I have 18 years of experience in educational publishing. I have had a hand in almost every aspect of the publishing process, with a particular focus on planning and implementing review efforts and guiding content changes based on feedback. I love working at the Boedeker Group because it is an agile, strategic company, with clear and proven best practices – qualities that make it easy for each employee to do their best work and that ensure that every project is a success.

What are some of your interests outside of work?

I live on a small farm in a small town in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State. My family and I maintain a large garden and keep a small herd of dairy goats. When not sitting at my computer, I am likely to be found doing one of many non-digital activities: sitting at my spinning wheel, experimenting with natural dyes, making cheese or yogurt, brewing wine or beer, and always, always knitting. I consider myself a cat person more than a dog person, but please don’t mention that to our one-eyed dog Helen.
